Ok, so I'm only a month late posting this..to the day too...lol

May 22nd our lil baby turned 1!! We celebrated her birthday on the 16th because we went camping the weekend of her actual birthday! She had so much fine digging into hher lady bug cake! Thank goodness I brought a wash cloth since we were at the park! Boy did that red frosting stain! She got a new pink car from her Grammie & Papa, and Mommy and Daddy~! She loves pushing it around! And loves to be pushed around in it!! She got her first baby doll! Which she tries to take the binkie off and put in her own mouth!!

The weekend of her birthday she got really sick with a high fever. And of course we were camping so I had to drive back into town and take her to the Dr. Of course they said she was fine! So we finished our camping trip. The day after we got back she got another high fever so I took her into urgent care and by then she had 2 ear infections! So they put her on meds once again.. She has been getting ear infections about 7-12 days after each treatment! By the end of that week she still wasnt better and had a 104.3 fever for 2 days! So once again we were back at the Dr getting different meds! Which she just finished last Thursday and seems to be doing much better now! What a way to spend your 1st birthday!

This Friday we are taking her up to Dorenbecher's to see an ENT, they are going to put tubes in her ears during her next facial treatment! So hopefully this will help her!! She's had so many since October! So this will all happen July 20th! Then were off for a 8 day camping trip on the 24th so I'm hoping she'll be ok by then!

Ok, so it's been a while since I've posted anything! We have been so busy since May! Katie had her 4th treatment on the 11th. It went ok. She had to have some oxygen when they brought her back out which scared us. But as soon as she woke up she was fine. The next time they are going to give her the sleepy medicine before. I can't remember what its called..lol. She fought the mask going to sleep, which made me feel horrible! She was doing so good with the nurses before no one thought she would need it! So here are a few pictures from that day....

So Tuesday after dinner we headed out to Leah's moms house to let the girls ride her horses. They love going out there! Matt on the other hand looked like he had been crying! His allergies were horrible!! lol!! Emelie did good riding Robin all by herself this time! Ashlie even got on with Leah! Last time she freaked out and lasted about 30 seconds! lol!! Abbie had fun riding MOJO and Robin with Leah!! Thanks for letting them come out Leah!! I think next time you should put them to work to clean up the stalls!! lol!!

Ok so it's been a while since I have posted anything!! Been so busy with soccer lately! Emelie and Ashlie have practice on Monday and Thursday nights. Then Saturdays they both have games! And Abbie plays indoor soccer on Monday mornings!! So here are some pictures from Easter! Of course I didnt get a picture of them all dressed up!! lol!

Egg coloring the night before was fun!! Of course I think there was more arguing going on than coloring! I even bought two kits so you would think there would be enough containers for the three of them to share! They colored 5 dozen eggs! Everyone around here likes to eat the eggs whites!

Then there was the easter egg hunt the Saturday before Easter! thankfully the church next to the soccer field was having one! So we got there bright and early at 9am!! So they could do the hunt!! Ashlie and Abbie did the first one! Then ashlie headed over to soccer for pictures while Emelie did the hunt with the older kids! They all got lots of candy!! Which I ended up finally throwing away yesterday! There was just to much around here!

Our Weekend At The Beach..

This last weekend we took the trailer and headed over to Beverly Beach... Hoping it would be nice!! lol! We got there around 7 on Thursday night set the trailer all up and for some reason the heater wouldn't come on!! So needless to say we froze all night! Now I know why I don't sleep in a tent!! lol! the girls said they stayed warm but Matt and I were cold!! So we spent most the day Friday trying to figure out why it wasnt working! We ended up finding a space heater and used that the rest of the weekend! When we got home Sunday Matt sucked the outside vent out with the shop vac and it worked!! Go figure!! lol!!
Anyways Friday morning it wasnt raining and of course the girls wanted to go play on the beach! Eventhough it was still freezing out there!! So I told them they could wear there shorts since I knew if they had jeans on they would just get soaked! And told them not to get past there knees wet, at this point we had no heat to go back and warm up to!! Of course Emelie decides to get completly wet and was freezing!! So here are a few pictures... Sat we just hung out in the trailer the girls made pot holders and painted ceramic figurines, while I made some brownie cookie bars. It poured all day Saturday and was really windy! So we just stayed inside! Hard to keep 6 people happy in such a small space!! lol!! And of course I didn't bring the camera back out! :(

Update on Katie

Well everything went really well yesterday. We got to the hospital about 730 got all checked in.. My nerves were horrible! I felt so sick to my stomach! They took her back about 830 and were done about 915. They did her eye, and it wasn't swollen at all like I expected. Looks really good. Abbie went with us this time. And after they brought Katie back in she started crying. She was really upset to see her like that.. She started to come around once Katie started waking up and she was giving her kisses on her head. Of course I have no idea where my camera was at this point! So after she woke up she drank some juice then we headed home. Today she's doing really good, she's just been sleeping alot. And when she's awake she is crawling all over the floor and pulling herself up to the coffee table!! She'es growing up way to fast!!

Well is has come upon us again, and quickly I might say! Katie has another Laser Treatment scheduled for Monday morning:( This time they are going to do her eye also. Which involves putting a stint in it to hold it open so they can do this. They say her eye will be pretty swollen and bruised afterwards. So were hoping and praying it's not to bad.. So I just ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers Sunday night (as she can't nurse past 1:45am...this was really hard last time come 5am!) And Monday morning as she goes through this again.. I will post some pictures and let everyone know how she's doing:)) Here are some fun pictures of her:)) Can't believe she's 9 months already!!

Matt Took the Plunge!!

So Saturday Matt took the Plunge into the icy cold waters of The Columbia River for the Special Olympics!! There were about 10 people from the Sheriff's office that did it! Matt raised $485!! The most on his team!! I was so proud of him!! I would of been all for raising the money but you wouldn't catch me jumping into that freezing water!! And to top it off he had been in bed really sick the four days before! Why may you ask is his shirt off....lol.. Well you all know he's a lil crazy! And when I went to take a picture of him before he went in I told him to take it off....LOL..... and he did:)) He was on Ch. 8 news too!! Out of all the people there they focused in on him....hmmmm wonder why!! Well if any of you missed it I have it saved on the DVR if you want to see:)))) Thank you to everyone who donated!!!

Last Saturday Matt took the girls fishing with his Mom and Dad while I did a baby Shower for my friend Stephanie! The girls had a blast and Abbie caught her first fish!! She even held it! lol! Which is more than I would do!! So here are some pictures from there day together! They even got up at 6am! Crazy! The night before I laid all there clothes out in hopes that I wouldn't get woke up! Yea right! lol.... I had to get up and fix there hair! Daddy's not so good at that part! lol...

Here she is playing the night before...

So yesterday was Katie's second treatment. It went pretty good. They didn't give her the medicine before that made her all loopy last time! So that was good! we got to the hospital about 745. They took her back around 8:30, and she was done about 9:20. So it took a little longer than last time, but they did a larger area this time too. Next time there going to do her eye, so they'll have to put a stint in it to hold it open. I'm not looking forward to that one! The date of the next one is March 9th. So we have 9 weeks to prepare for the next time!

Sunday night was hard for me, I woke her up at 130am to nurse her. She couldn't nurse past 145am. She did good and went back to sleep. But then she woke up at 530am hungry again. And of course i couldn't feed her. I felt so bad not being able to. Finally I just got up to take a shower and let Matt try to get her back to sleep. So she fussed until we left at 7am, and of course fell asleep as soon as we got in the van!!

Last night she was pretty fussy and just wanted to be held. She slept on Matt and I the whole night. This morning she got up and ate a little bit of cereal and is back down for a nap now. So I'm just trying to keep ice and the lotion on her face today and for the next 7 days. It seems pretty swollen in between her eye and her ear on the side of her face. Hopefully it will go down soon.. So here are a few pictures for you......

So just as soon as Katie healed from her first treatment I got the letter in the mail for that date of the second one! Seemed like it was to soon to be thinking of another one! Anyways, her next one is this Monday January 5th! So we will be heading to Portland Sunday afternoon and staying the night so we can be closer in the morning. It's going to be a long Sunday night. She can't nurse past 1:45 am! And for some reason she has been waking up like every 2-3 hrs at night wanting to eat! or just lay with Daddy! I'll feed her and put her back to bed she'll be sound asleep and the second I lay her down she wakes up screaming!! Both of us have been so tired lately so Matt will go get her and put her in bed with him! I however can't sleep at all holding her! So the past couple of nights when he's been working til 2 or 4am have been horrible to say the least!! lol!!
Emelie has 2 indoor soccer games Sunday, one at 11 and the other at 1. So as soon as there over my mom is going to take the girls home with her, and we'll head to Portland! So I will let all you know how she does on Monday. I'm thinking there going to do more of her face this time. Since the last time they were just kinda testing her face to see how it would react so they didn't do a large area. So lets all hope and pray she does ok this time:))) I'm not as nervous this time because I know a little more of what to expect! But I still don't like the thought of having my lil baby put to sleep..... Keep us in your prayers...

So we got our tree delivered today! Yes, I said delivered! Lol!! Matt has connections (LOL) and did not want to cut it down! Although I did miss out on him cutting some more off the bottom! I told him it needed a fresh cut so it could drink up the water better:))))

It was Ashlie's turn to put the Angel on this year! How they remember who did it last year is beyond me, but she was adamant it was her turn! lol!

So I gave him the camera since he was in the coach's area but I think he only ended up taking 2 pictures and none were of Emelie!

Ok, so Kristin let us use her Johnny jump up a few months ago! Well Katie just loves it! She plays in it every morning while I take a shower and get ready! Since it has to go in a doorway she can't really sit in it the rest of the day unless the girls are playing in there room. So I took a video of her this morning playing in it:))

Hope everyone is having a good weekend:)) Well just as I thought we finally got through the first treatment and her being sick I got the letter in the mail for the next one! It's been a few weeks.....

Well it's been a few weeks since I have posted anything so I figured I'd better get on it!! Everyone has been asking how Katie is doing. Well, she is doing great all the bruising is gone from her face. I kept it moist with the lotion for the first week, and that seemed to really help. She did not like putting ice on it at all!
About 4 days after her treatment she did get really sick though. All the girls had a horrible cold the week before and of course her and I got it too! So on top of everything else she ended up with an ear infection, bad cough and high fever about 4 days after her treatment. We were also at the beach camping that weekend too! And of course I didn't take any pictures that weekend camping because I was to busy holding her the whole time! Luckily we had nice weather and no rain while we were there!! I took her to the Dr as soon as we got back and they gave her some meds! So finally this week she is feeling better after about 3 weeks of being sick and having her treatment. So maybe I can start getting some sleep now!! lol!! right!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We had family down from Seattle stay with us! The girls loved playing with their cousins!!So now I'm just trying to get back into the swing of things and get the house cleaned up and ready for Christmas! Matt got all the lights put up this weekend! But I'm thinking he has to many plugged into one outlet! I tried to turn them on last night and the lights on the roof and bushes won't light up! So as soon as he has a day off I'll make sure he gets them fixed!! lol! Then I'll get some pictures up of the house!!

Well...today was the day of her first Laser Treatment.... Matt and I headed up to Portland last night so we would be closer this morning. Which was so nice. Being up most the night worried about today then trying to keep her pacified after 345am because she could not nurse after then. She actually did pretty good not eating:) When we first got there the nurse took her vitals...weighed her. She weighed 14.5 lbs!! She has gotten so big!

So after that they gave her some medicine to calm her and some tylenol. She got quite loopy at this point. I had to give her to Matt, I had already cried enough at this point!

Then they took her back to the surgery room....{insert crying here again...}

She came back about a half hour later. And she ended up sleeping for about 45-50 min more before she woke up. So we just stood there and watched her sleep! Waiting for her to wake up!! That was really hard to see her out like that!

After she woke up we got her dressed, I nursed her for a little bit then we headed home:)) Got some breakfast on the way home because Matt and I were starving! Felt to nervous and nausous to eat before we went in! All in all it was better than we both expected! She did so awesome! Thank you so much for all your prayers and thoughts:)) And her lil Teddy bear from Grammie! She loves suckin on his nose!! So we'll be back up there in January for her second treatment. I'll post some pictures next week as it heals. For now were kepping ice on it, putting Auqafor Lotion on it and givin her motrin. She has slept most the day today. And when she has been awake she just wants to be held..which is fine by me:)))

Halloween...

Boy this was one busy weekend!! With Halloween friday and girls' last soccer games Saturday, and soccer parties after that it was filled!! Friday I got the girls off to school then dressed Abbie and Katie up to go run some errands to get ready for Saturday!! Abbie Sue dressed up as Raggedy Ann. She was so stinkin cute too! She had been waiting all week to put her costume on too!! And she had the perfect red shoes to go with her outfit too!!

I had two lil outfits for Katie. My friend had given me one that I thought she would be nice and warm in when we took the girls TRICK OR TREATING, but it was a lil big so we just tried it on, then I dressed her up in something else for the rest of the day:))

So after school Emelie and Ashlie quickly got dressed so they could go see Grandmama, Grammie, and Aunt Nikki before they went Trick OR Treating..

Emelie wanted to dress up as a SWAT girl. So Matt painted her face all up, and she had a duty belt on, and her shirt said SWAT on the front and back:))

Ok, so my family has had this "BUNNY" outfit that has been passed down since my lil sister.. and this year Ashlie said she wanted to dress up in it!! lol...although when she tried it on that night she wasn't very happy about wearing it and was embarrassed! I however thought she was very cute:)))

Pumpkin Patch.....

Sunday morning we all headed to the Pumpkin Patch! It was such a nice day out!! 73'!! Ashlie wanted to go swimming because she was so hot...lol... They had a cool pumpkin cannon that shot pumpkins out across the field! the girls enjoyed that!! Then they went through the hay maze, and went down a cool slide!! Then we headed out to the patch on one of the horse drawn hay rides:)) Here are a few pictures!!

Our 9th. Anniversary

Friday morning Matt and I headed off to Seaside for our anniversary:)) First we dropped Abbie off at Mom's then Emelie and Ashlie off at Vicki's house. That's there soccer coach:)) They had a game Saturday morning.. So Mom met them there then took the two of them home and kept all 3 last night.

So, we got to the coast Friday. It was a nice room. Had a big jacuzzi tub:)) We ate dinner at Mo's that night then stopped to get some beer and wine for the night, since we had Katie we couldn't go out to any bars..lol!! We had a great day Saturday walked about 5 miles total!! 1.5 was on the beach with the stroller...I don't recommend this! LOL!! Ate at Pig N Pancake then for KFC later for dinner and brought it cback to our room. Then just relaxed last night!!

Headed home this morning about 11, wish checkout was later I did not want to get out of bed this morning!! All in all it was a great weekend!! Thanks so much Mom and Vicki for watching them this weekend!!

Our Busy Thursday.....

Today was Emelie and Ashlie's Jog-A-thon at school!! Thank you to everyone who sponsered them! Emelie was first off to run this morning at 10:00. She did really good!! She ran 7 laps, which is almost 2 miles!! After that they got popscicles!

Then it was off to Burger King! Her class had a field trip there today! And they walked!! Wasn't very smart plannin on the teachers part I thought! Since they ran right before it!! Anyways, they all did good! Abbie, Katie and I however drove there! It was to cold to have them out for that long of a walk, and my luck Abbie would have pooped out and I'd be pushing the stroller and carrying her!! So they had a good lunch there and got to take a tour of BK...So after our lunch the girls and I headed home, Katie ate then took an hour nap. Then it was off to the school again...

Ashlie ran at 2:00... Emelie was on recess at the time and decided to run some more with Ashlie! Where she has the energy is beyond me! I was pooped!! Ashlie ran 5 laps!! Abbie ran two!! And Emelie ran 2 more!! Finally school was over and we all headed home! They were all pooped! They layed in my bed for about an hour!! So we had dinner and now were off to Soccer....Ashlie's practice tonight!! Then it's home to bed for them:)))

So I just wanted to give everyone an update on Katie's Surgery. We got the letter in the mail this weekend of the date for the first one. It's going to be Monday November 10th.. We have to be up in Portland at OHSU by 7am. And she can't nurse past 1:30am!! So not sure how that's going to go.. I just got this sick feeling in my stomach when I was reading the letter about it. Matt keeps telling me that she'll be ok and it'll go quick. But I'm not so sure. I'm more emotional about it. I think it's the putting her to sleep part that bothers me the most. She has to have these treatments done every 6-8 weeks. So the second one would be around the first of the year.. Afterwards her face will be swollen and bruised for about a week, and were supposed to put ice on it every hour! That outta be fun with a 6 month old..lol.. Anyways, I just ask that you keep us and her in your thoughts and prayers as we go through this with her. I know she will thank us when she is older. I'll keep you all updated when she goes in......

Our Mommie And Me Day....

Today we got together with our Mommy group...we need to think of name..lol! Anyways, we headed off to the NW Kids Club. Which is a great indoor park for kids up to 7!! They loved it!! Abbie and Tru spent lots of time in the bouncy house! While Jack lived it up in the sand box!! Ava had fun crawling around all the toys too!! Katie enjoyed playin in the exersacuer! After I wiped all the sand off of it!! lol!! And Kristin came with Kylie too!! She's only 3 weeks old but I know she had fun...lol!! It was a great morning! After we left I headed to Sears to pick up Matt's birthday present I ordered him last week! We got him a Craftsman tool chest! And of course it wasn't in stock so I had to order it and give him a picture of it Saturday instead! Needless to say he was anxious for today! He wanted to take the day off to go get it! So I picked it up for him! So that's what he's doing right now!! Out in the garage putting it together!! Abbie and Katie passed out on the way home! Abbie slept on the couch until 3 and Katie stayed asleep in her carseat until I had to go get the girls at 3:15!! So I got some cleaning done and made some chocolate chip cookies while they were sleepin (don't be to impressed it was premade dough from costco:)!! All in all it was a good day! Now I'm ready for bed!!

"D" is for Ducks!!

So today we learned about the letter "D"!! So I thought I would take the kids down to the pond to feed the ducks:)) Kheller informed me that he didn't get to feed the ducks at the ducks game!! LOL! I told him we were going to feed different Ducks!! So we headed off to feed the ducks there lunch!! Abbie and Kheller had lots of fun. Matt came along to help too:) So we made them stay by the van behind the log since some of the geese were not so nice!! This seemed to work good and kept them a lil farther away! Although Kheller kept trying to get down closer to see there face!! Lucas wasn't to sure about the ducks so he stayed in the van and watched from his seat. Towards the end I finally got him to come out and let me hold him so he could feed them. He was holding onto me for dear life!! But once he saw they wern't going to get him he was fine! So here are a few pictures from this morning... There all passed out taking naps now!!

So today Abbie and Katie and I got together with our stay at home mommy friends:) aka....Mindy, Amber and Adria! We had a great day. The girls got off to school and we came back home and got ready. Katie fell back asleep so I had to wake her up to get her ready!! We headed downtown to the Gilbert house. The kids had fun~~ Abbie had so much fun playing with Tru!! And lil Jack was so cute! Everytime you turned around he was out the door and off to explore another room!! Then we headed off to the riverfront to eat lunch and let the kids ride the carasoul!~ I even put Katie on the lil one that doesn't move! She seemed more interested in sucking on her hand than anything else though!! Thanks for a great day girls!

So as I lay in the bed this morning with Katie sound asleep on me...I wake up to the smell of french toast.. Who could be making this I thought since Matt is snoring away I knew it wasn't him..lol!! So I go into the kitchen and this is who I see......

Soccer Saturday...

Ok so we started off today with Ashlie's game at 11:10. She had a great game!! And she scored her first goal of the season!! YEA!! And the weather was perfect!! Anytime it doesn't rain for soccer is awesome!! Last spring we played in the snow!! Crazy weather!!

So after Ashlie's game we came home had some lunch then headed off to Emelie's game at 3:10! And it's not like the games are close by! We have to drive to Keizer for them so it takes about 25 min each way! So it works out much better when the games are back to back so were done in one shot instead of taking up the whole day:)) I tried to get as many pictures as I could today but it was hard during Emelie's game cuz all Katie wanted to do was eat! And I was trying to keep track of Abbie too! Ashlie went over to my Mom's during Emelie's game! She was pooped from hers and the heat!!

This picture cracked me up. She noticed I had my camera on her so as she ran by she gave me a big smile!! Can you tell they take pictures alot!! We had a great day!! Now tomorrow night is my bunko night with no kids...well....except Katie!

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came to my Partylite Party tonight. It was fun!! Well the girls' first Soccer games of the season are tomorrow! There excited!! Hopefully it won't be to hot out! Supposed to be 92' on Sunday!! Matt's going to miss them he has to work! The Oktoberfest is this weekend so he's working Ot all weekend... He took the next 2 Saturdays off though to be there. After all he is the asst. coach:) lol... Ashlie's team is called the Daisy's and there jerseys are pink!! She's pretty excited about that! Emelie's is called the Marlin's and they are Red~ I'll post some pictures of the games tomorrow!! Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Hi everyone...
Ok, so I am new at this so we'll see how it goes! Hopefully you can come here and find out what is going on in our family:) I like using myspace but not everyone has that and can see pictures of the girls! So... I'll try to keep it updated....
Emelie is in 3rd Grade now!! She is loving it so far! She loves her teacher which is good! Last year she wasnt to happy with her and didn't like going all the time! so I'm glad she has one she likes! Ashlie is a big first grader now!! Wow!! Time flys by fast! She loves her teacher! She is the same one Emelie had in 1st grade I really like her! And Miss Abbie Sue is stycuk home with Mom til next year when she turn 4!! Then we'll put her in preschool!! And Katie is almost 4 months old! Can't belive that one either! She is getting so big! babbling all the time now! She rolled over last week! And of course it was the one day I left for an hour to get my nails done so Daddy got to see it first!! She starts treaments on her face in November so I'm praying that all goes well.. We'll have to be up in Portland At OHSU by 6am. And there going to do laser treatments every 6 weeks for 10 treatments to start with. Then after that see how well it has faded and then probably go back every 2 years for a touch up. There going to have to put her to sleep everytime to do the treatments which were not looking forward to every 6 weeks! But it's better than what they told us in June that they would wrap her up and hold her down to do them! That freaked us out! So there waiting til she's 6 months old to start the treatments! Ok, well hope that gets you all started on a little of whats going on around here! The girls 1st soccer games of the season start Saturday!! Emelie is playing up on the U10-11 team this year!! And Ashlie is on the u-6! I'll post pictures soon of them!!
